Journal No.1 2023
Journal No.1 2023
an exploration of Tasmanian place and culture
We’ve been storytelling here on our website for the past five years. Whilst a lot has happened online, we’ve been quietly yearning to take things into print. Some stories are simply best enjoyed on paper, curled up quietly in your favourite chair. Screen free.
Tasmaniology is the first volume of The Tasmanian Tuxedo print journal. Nestled within its 152 pages you’ll find a special collection of Tasmanian tales told through story, verse and image. It’s a boutique publication designed inspire and intrigue. If you’re Tasmanian, we hope it makes you feel proud. If you’re not, we hope it sparks a desire to visit.
Tasmaniology is 100% Tasmanian. Tasmanian stories captured by a Tasmanian author and a Tasmanian photographer. It was printed right here in Tasmania on 100% recycled, uncoated paper that is Forest Stewardship Council certified.
Tasmaniology is a limited edition, soft cover publication. There are just 1000 copies available, each one has been carefully hand numbered and is ready to be treasured.
The journal makes a unique gift for those intrigued by our extraordinary island at the bottom of the world. It’s right at home on coffee tables and bookshelves celebrating travel and culture.
We trust you’ll enjoy.
Amanda & Joe.
